With our products, we protect the feet of thousands of hard-working professionals every day. But we also bear responsibility for the bigger picture. Whether it is the materials we select for our products or the partners we work with, it is the daily choices we make, big and small, that allow us to make a positive impact.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY REPORTS

Since 2019 Allshoes' focus has been on making our products and operations more sustainable. Since 2022, we have been reporting to the outside world about our progress. In our first sustainability report we shared everything we have achieved through 2021 in terms of CO2 reduction, circularity, and improving working conditions within the supply chain, among others.
We are proud to now publish an update on 2022. From mapping our supply chain to launching shoes with more than 50% (weight-based) recycled raw materials - you can read everything we have achieved this year in our sustainability update:
 

OUR SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY

For us, sustainability means being mindful of both people and the environment. Our strategy is therefore twofold: on the one hand, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact; on the other, we want to make a positive contribution to people and society.
In doing so, we face important challenges: the transition to a circular economy, reducing CO2 and increasing transparency in our supply chain. We have set an ambitious target for each of these challenges:
 

1. A circular product range
   We integrate recycled materials into our product range and design our products to have a long life cycle. We also work on designs that can be easily dismantled and recycled again at the end of their lifespan. This is how we complete the circle.
    
2. A climate-neutral organisation.
   Allshoes is working on reducing our footprint. By 2025, this should lead to a 30% reduction in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions (with 2018 as base year). We will fully compensate the remaining emissions with sustainable initiatives.
    
3. A transparent supply chain
   A responsible supply chain is a transparent supply chain. By 2025, we will have mapped out all our suppliers; from our own safety shoe manufacturers to the suppliers of our raw materials. We then work together with our partners to make the entire chain more sustainable.
